Question Release time of day?

I'm hoping to get a 3080 for my system, and I expect the limited supply will run out fast.

What time of day doe the GPUS usually release on the day of release?
Midnight?
9 am?
some other time?
and by what time zone?

First come, first serve.

Some stores won't sell them until they open their doors, whenever that is.

you have that backwards. 12 am PDT would be 3AM EDT.

sites like Amazon or Newegg would probably be 12 am PDT, then?

Actually that is backwards, 12 am PST would be 3AM EST.
12AM EST would be 9PM PST

Only thing I feel is missing is confirmation for what time the cards go on sale on the specified dates.

The time zones make this messy. There's no universal time.

So if EVGA, who's headquartered in California, says 12AM PST:
-2AM CST(for me)
-12AM across all zones
It's going to be one or the other.

from an NVdia person 6 am Pacific time on Sept 17. that's 9 am eastern, 2 pm UK time,11pm in Tokyo
