greetings,

i've recently started getting PFN_List_Corrupt Blue screens at random, they occur without any specific patterns, i could be writing something down, playing a game, or just watching something from a browser,

"The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000004e (0x000000000000009a, 0x000000000005436f, 0x0000000000000006, 0x0000000000000002). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 0cee42de-0ab3-41ab-b199-9138b8aa92a3."

i've tried SFC, CHKDSK and Memory diagnostics,

SFC said it found some errors and fixed them, not even sure if chkdsk did find anything as i wasnt prompted after the restart, and memory diagnostic's found no errors,

i'm running on a Dell G5 with 8gbs of ram, and a SSD which windows is installed on alongside a 1tb HDD,

checking event viewer i found that alongside each abrupt shutdown, a registry was made under Error - kernel event tracing "Session "PerfDiag Logger" failed to start with the following error: 0xC0000035"
and as far as i know, that has something to do with scheduled defrag task, looking around at task scheduler, i found no task for that, even though that the 'optimize driver' software said it had one scheduled, for now i just decided to try and disable the scheduled task from the software and see if that changes anything, (also the option to "analyze" the C: drive on the optimize driver software is grayed out for some reason.)

could it be the cause of the error? what else is there to check? i feel lost to how could failure to run a scheduled task could cause a blue screen.
any help is highly appreciated!

Model/SKU for your Dell G5? Can you get into BIOS and see which version you're on at the moment? If you're able to boot to GUI without issue, can you check and see which version of Windows 10 you're currently on for your laptop?

Dell G5 5587
BIOS : 1.14.0
Windows 10 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 19041)

-info gathered from dxdiagnostics.

and yeah i can boot to windows, and use the computer normally, it occurs randomly once every day or so, with no particular event that i have initiated myself. (opening a certain program, using the laptop under certain conditions...etc.)

help is highly appreciated!
