[SOLVED] reliable budget 500gb ssd?

Hello everyone, I'm building a budget build and need a 500gb ssd. I'm combining it with a Seagate Barracuda 2TB. All I need for my ssd is something reliable that is 480-512gb. I don't need anything really fast either, just something for a boot drive and to store a few games. I'm using an Asrock B450M Steel legend, which I know has 2 M.2 slots, but I know those are more expensive and I like the look of SATA ssds better.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The Crucial MX500 is the best quality, but is M.2 although it does come in SATA III.

How do you feel about the BX500?
Edit: I've also heard bad things about PNY SSDs, so i'm not comfortable buying them

The performance and reliability of the drive should be your primary concern, not 'how it looks'. The MX500 m.2 drive listed by @MrN1ce9uy is a good option.

Okay, I’ll probably go with the MX 500 then.
But I’ve seen a Kingston A400, is that one good or is the MX 500 better? I remember the A400 being cheaper.

MX500 over the Kingston, no question.
You'll be living with this drive for several years. Don't go cheap just to save $10.
