Reliable SATA HDD interface to IDE controller converter?

I'm looking for a solution to backing up customers data on site and I have decided that I would feel most comfortable with a simple 2 bay RAID 1 enclosure with both a SATA2/3 and USB 3.0 port for the fastest data transfer and to ensure that the customer's data is not lost. The sata and usb interfaces cover almost any setup I'd run across on any fairly modern system. But occasionally I'll have a customer that only has IDE ports on their motherboard. In this situation I could just use an IDE HDD but I don't feel comfortable without the redundancy and it would additionally be nice to carry as little as possible. I have found adapters online that do what I'm asking, but they are all cheap and have poor reviews reporting all sorts of problems. Does anybody make a good, reliable, quality converter from SATA device to IDE controller?

Thanks!!

Has your experience with your interface card been good? I can bring 2 of them in case one stops working completely, but have you ever had one seem to work perfectly, but find that some of the files you copied are corrupt? Some of the amazon reviews look promising, but I'm still a bit worried I might pick one that fails in the worst way possible haha.
