Question Reminders for installing a second m.2 drive

I was gifted a second m.2 drive for the holidays. It's been a while since I put the build together. The installation is rather simple as I recall (remove screw, insert drive, replace screw) but I'm wondering if there are any other reminders before I get started. I haven't installed a second one of these, and I don't remember any other install information once the drive is recognized.

Make sure the new (second) drive is set lower in the boot priority than the first (OS) drive.
Other than that you really shouldnt have any issues.

I haven't been in bios in a while! Must be time for me to think about a new build.

So on boot up, I am able to F11 into boot order, and I can see my new drive and I can select my older m.2 boot drive (which is already selected as the boot drive), but I can't seem to get bios to load? Held delete key down, pressed it repeatedly, tried a few shutdown and reboots and I can't seem to get into bios? Also, when computer loads up, new m.2 doesn't show up in storage, even though it was there after hitting F11 on the load screen. Any ideas?

Nevermind. Finding information on how to manually partition the drive to get it usable. Now to figure out mbr or gpt...
