Hey Guys.
I wanted to install Remix Os in my Pc, and as i thought I got the boot problems. First I tried to install in a different NTFS drive but it didn't give me the boot loader correctly ( No Option in boot loader ) and then i installed it in C: drive where my windows Xp is installed. Then Wow, i had it and it booted into terminal and it said its creating a partition or something which is 6.0 Gib. So i waited. After it got loaded it ran commands as all linux os does and when it came to the "Androidx86: #"
something like that and then a black screen appeared and it just had a " - " hyphen on top. It was not blinking too. Just a " - ". What Does this mean.

I know you guys will ask me if i had run remix before. The answer is yes. I installed it when my pc did strange things ( that's a different story ). It worked fine. I had done the same procedure of installing i.e. through windows installed. It worked perfect but i removed it because after few days it took a long time to boot after while showing remix logo, somethings never.

So is there any way i can install it the right way. And Should the partition be formated to NTFS or Fat32??

Or Should there be changes to the grub file, for changing the video resolution ( like i saw your earlier post ).

Help ME!!

NO, I just wanted to have fun with Remix Os. I have installed remix on NTFS partition of my drive, After I select Remix Os from the boot manager i get that. But Remix works fine with USB booting( Guest Mode ).

Sorry for answering late, cuz I live in India...

I've not tried yet. i'll try and reply you asap.
hey! it seems like i've said usb booting works but, no it has the same problem.
later that day i tried phoenix os too, but that's another prob. I know there's android x86 as well but don't like it that much, so don't suggest to use it please !
and sorry if i had not replied this on time

But sorry if I had not said my pc spec, here they are:

2 Gb Ram ,
256 mb onboard gpu
so 1.25 ram usable
2.80 ghz intel pentium D cpu ( 2 cpu )

No, I did what should be done, like normal configuration, but not allocating more ram, setting cpu's, creating hard disk, etc.... I just started guest mode for faster booting..😀
I'm want it really bad!!

But the way thanks for replying for every words..
I would have give up trying it, but I had it once but why not now, that's in my head...
