How would a remote user allow me to access his machine over "remote
assistance" in messenger?
I see in the "my computer" where you would add users but if I am just
supporting a user somewhere how can i work oin thier machine without having
to explain how to add me as a local user etc.
Isn't it easier that that?

Greetings Mmac,

All they need to do is open a conversation window with you, chose Actions, then "Ask for
Remote Assistance". You accept and it just works (at least that's the idea).
