Question Remote desktop signing in as original user

So I'm signed into my workstation as my regular user account, and I'm trying to sign into my server with an admin account. I do this every day.

Today, despite typing in the admin credentials into the windows RDP tool, it logged me in as my regular user account, not the admin account. I've tried several times and it logs me in as my regular account every time. Has anyone experienced this before?

Solved, classic shell was super imposing my regular desktop's start menu over the remote, opening the wrong computer's start menu whenever I tried.
