however, i can't still connect to it from work?!

does anyone know what seem to be the problem and how to

Have you changed the port on the client at work as well?

Can you ping you home PC from work, using port 80?

Sorry, I wasn't thinking. I meant:
* can you ping your home pc from work?
* can you telnet to port 80?

I have been hacked on an unsecure network, through the use of term server. I
went into the registry on a rebuilt w2003 server machine and set the port to
xxxx, when i go and try to connect using remote desktop on xp pro, I get an
error stating The server name cannot contain the following characters,
spaces...: ;, etc. How do I set it up to go to a different port if I cannot
use the colon.
