Remote for PC

I have a laptop with windows 7 that i have connected to a tv for watching stuff online. Is there a remote that I can use to control windows. I'm looking to use a remote instead of the laptop keyboard and mouse pad. I don't want a remote that only controls window media though, I tried one of those. Is there something like this?

If you have a smartphone, you can get an app for it called unified remote. It would allow you to move the cursor around by dragging your finger around the screen like a touchpad, and bring up a virtual keyboard for when you need to type.

i love the hell out of this thing. hope to build an htpc for the livingroom soon and will be getting another for that.

the company actually makes a lot of different designs. i cant vouch for any others since i only have the one, but i love it enough i'd be willing to try another in the future. i had never even heard of the brand before and expected some cheap build thing but was pleasantly surprised by how amazing the quality is, how well it works, and how useful it is.
