Question Remote into PC

I am going to be putting my desktop computer in my closet with ethernet because I am going to be remoting into it locally with my mac. I will need to get a dummy hdmi display plug in order to have a display to remote into. All the ones that I can find are 60hz. My MacBook and external monitors are all 120hz, if I remote into my computer, and run the games without vsync, will my laptop be able to see the 120hz feed? Or only 60hz?

Are you sure you want to do that? Mind sharing pictures of your closet? If it's blocked off of air/venting, the system's going to cook itself when taxed or even during regular operation.
