Remote Nas Drive Sync

I am working at a small web design company which have 2 locations with people working in different parts of the country. We currently have 1 Netgear nas drive at my location which we can access here and the other location can access as well but its very slow.

My idea to help speed this up and a generally better way was to buy another nas drive and have that at the second location and use bit torrent sync will keep the 2 nas drives in sync. This would mean both location would be working locally on each nas drive and then any changes would be immediately synced between each other.

Does anybody have a better way of doing this or can anyone see any problem with my thoughts?

Thanks

Depends what's actually causing the slowness...

Couple key questions:
1) How are the other locations accessing the NAZ remotely?
2) What is the internet upload & download bandwidth at the location where the NAS is?
3) What is the upload & download bandwidth at the remote location(s)?

1) They are currently using the readynas remote login feature, but they complain its so slow to do anything.
2,3) We both have fibre optic 50+mb connections.

Yeah I can see how that would be painful. 50Mbps connection only works out to about 6.25MB/s actual data transfer speed to their machines, which would make for miserable use.

I think you're on the right track with using a synch tool. I'll be honest, I don't really have hands on with anything like this so I have to bow out on this one.
