I have a NZXT H700i case which I put a Z370-F Asus board into. Now I moved my PC onto a wall mount above my desk. I have to get on a ladder to turn on my PC every time I want to turn it on. I looked at adding a new Button switch but my FPANEL connectors are in a group and not individual cables. I don't want to rewire my entire IO connector to make this work. Any other options I haven't thought of?

How would I achieve adding a power button?

Is their a wireless remote option I am missing?

Thanks I will give that a shot. It will just make my LED on the case not visible but I guess I can't see it anyway.

I did a search and found these on Amazon. This one is powered by a USB header...

Amazon likes to combine pages for "similar" products, so there's a lot of unrelated information for USB expansion cards and things on that page. They mix the reviews as well, so you need to filter them down to get the reviews for just this product (you will still need to ignore the two "top rated" reviews though, as they don't get filtered)...

There's a PCIe card version as well...

And its reviews...

The PCIe version has fewer reviews, but they look as though they might be slightly more positive. I imagine the USB one might have issues if the computer is set to power down USB headers when shut down. The USB version might offer slightly batter placement options though. The PCIe version also has a little speaker that apparently beeps when you use the remote, but there's a jumper to disable that. It looks like the wires that connect to the motherboard have pass-through connectors that might allow you to keep the front panel power switch connected with these as well.

And here are the official pages for the two products, where you can find more information about them...

Thank You so much for this information, I have seen these, I was skeptical about using it. I went ahead and ordered a Momentary Vandal switch and PWR/Reset cabling so I can mount it inside my desk. I'm not sure why I was so worried about losing my I/O Led.

Thanks again, great response!
