I am trying to connect WiFi from a church to an outbuilding 700 feet away. I have tried a repeater and an antenna but that only gets me half the way to the building. I have considered using a hot spot into a router. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Charlie

I agree use a pair of outdoor bridge units. Since your distance is so short, many of these units will go many kilometers, you likely could get by with a lower cost unit. Things like the airmax nanostation 5ac loco cost about $50.
You can get other similar units from some of the more common consumer brands like netgear. Ubiquiti units are a bit more complex since they have lots of software features, but I still prefer them to other brands for the price.

Key though is you must have a clear line of sight. Even trees in the path can have a major impact. You want to mount them as high as you can reasonably , you don't want someone to park a big truck in the path and block your signals.
