Remotely view webcams

I have webcam Xp and I have configured it so I cam view then cameras on my local network. But i want to be able to view them remotely, so i can view them on any network. Also how can I set up a server to share files anywhere and possibly print to my local printer.

I assume you’re referring to the above.

If the webcam is available over IP within your local network, then you need to determine the port used to support the service, and open/forward that port to that machine’s local IP address on the router. You’ll also want to use a DDNS service to make it easier to determine your dynamically assigned public IP.
