I have an odd problem that someone out there may have experienced or know an answer to.
I am using windows 2000 pro on a p4 1.7. i boot into windows and don't have any problems with removable media. after a little while that the computer has been on, without any obvious cause, windows explorer does not see that there is any media in the readers. by readers and removable media i am referring to my 2 cd roms, and a flash card reader. they all fail at the same time, but i can't figure out what causes it. i am also completely updated from microsoft if that helps. any ideas people?
