I have a Toshiba L305D S5881 and I want to repair the opperating system but since the computer came from a garage sale the previous owner had placed a bios password. How can I remove this?

Take out battery open the port were the ram is installed ......remove RAM

you need a small piece of wire and a piece of tape

you will see 2 mount points with B500 or "xxx" above them

simply place the small wire across the 2 points install 1 stick of RAM plug into wall leaving main battery out fire it up and it may restart 2 or 3 times or you will immediately be in

NO JOKE did this exact process last weekend and it worked
