Remove google search bar from taskbar

after I updated to my windows 10 this google search bar showed up and I really want to get rid of it

Have you tried right-clicking on the search box and selecting remove from Quick Launch Bar?

1. right click on the bar should be able to remove it from that menu
or
2. load CCleaner, goto tools, startup and disable the google toolbar from that area, reboot.
