Is there anyway to remove IE the ver. I have says at the top Microsoft internet explorer provided by @home. Thats my problem I have tried everything to remove the default proxy settings and it will not let me I built a home network using a kinksys router with a for port hub to share my cable connection. On the second computer it works great. But on mine everytime I open IE it tries to detect proxy settings I went to tools and disable them and I work fine for as long as i keep it open but if i close and reopen then it looks for the proxy settings again. I even tried setting up a new internet connection. Linksys cant help and comcast won't help. I have deleted anything that i can find that refers to @home. It has to be a regestry problem but I dont know crap about editing a regestry. Always sounded like a place I had no business going. Sorry for the long post but wanted to give all info i could Thanks for any and all help

If you see a turtle on top of a fence post,
