I would like to sell or donate an old laptop, a Toshiba Satellite T235D-S1345, 64 bit, Windows 7. I know I need to wipe the hard drive but would like to keep the preinstalled games that came with the laptop for the next owner. I have already deleted my account and assigned the administrator as "John Doe." I uninstalled my programs and deleted personal files, deleted temporary internet files, and emptied trash bin, but what other steps do I need to take to completely eliminate the chance of any of my personal data being recovered by anyone? Is there a program I can use to "wipe" any possible remaining personal data and still leave the games?

You have no way to know whether any personal info is stored outside of your profile folder. Some apps keep dayta in their installation folder, or ProgramData folder, or in per-machine registry hive. So, you should carefully evaluate the risk.
