Remove uac in word office & student 2007 home & student

how do i get office home and student 2007 to work on my new pc fitted with windows 7 it loads but there are no icons

Do you mean it's not in the start menu? It should be under start/programs/microsoft office. If you just type excel or word in the search box, does it show up in the list? If not, I'd try uninstalling it and reinstalling it.
