Remove verizon wireless from netbook

Hello,
i no longer want to use verizon service on my net book. Is there a way for the wireles card to be used for any wirelss/wifi network????

Click on "Networks and Sharing Center" and look for available networks. Connect to the one you want using the password for that network.
