Removing a case power switch

Making an open air board pc, can i remove the power switch and its cords and headers from an old aerocool case?

Im planning on building an wall mounted open air pc, i wish to remove the power, reset and usb case buttons and connectors - intact with its cords and headers - from my aerocool strike x case. Is it possible to do so? (I dont mind damaging the case beyond repair.

Well yes you can remove the switches from it but where are you gonna put it?

Not to mention how are you going to turn your computer ON? You need power switch for that connected to your Mb.
If you simply want to remove it from the case to use it, of course you can.. But you might have to damage the case to do so.

I was gonna cut it into the box for the wall mount

I dont wanna keep the case, i dont need it and its * so...

Yes you can remove it as long as you dont damage the switch. You can even cut the wires and put then together again if you need to or if you want to shorten the wires.
