Recently, I connected (SATA) a second HDD to my computer to see what was on it. After I had finished using it, I intended on removing it. I can easily remove the blue SATA cable, but the black connector is proving to be a lot more difficult. I have tried pressing down on different parts of the connector, but nothing worked.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Solution
Press the tab on the top and pull carefully, there is no reason why it should be any more difficult to remove than the SATA data cable unless there's physical damage due to lightning or something like that

I'll give it another shot, thanks.

Edit: I ended up just getting a pair of pliers, and using them to get it out. Thanks.
