Removing Alphine 64 Plus fan from heatsink

I recently brought a Alphine 64 Plus cooler for my CPU though when it arrived, the fan came off but I ended up putting it back on. The problem is I didn't take much notice of the wires connected to the fan when putting the fan back on the heatsink so now the wires are sort of twisted and are out of place from where they should be.

I of course want to fix this but i just can't take the fan away from the heatsink. It's not fixed onto the heatsink with screws or anything, It's just sort of clipped onto it with brute force and I don't really want to pull it off with brute force as I'm worried I'll break the fan in some way.

Any help?

Where exactly cause I can't see them?

i was wrong.only 2 clips.they are right where the heatsink mounting clips are.you cant really see them from the top.worst case scenario you remove the heatsink with the fan and turn it upside down to see the clips.make sure to reapply your thermal paste if you do this.

What do you mean exactly with "worst case scenario you remove the heatsink with the fan and turn it upside down to see the clips"?. I haven't actually installed the cooler yet so. I had to remove the pre-applied thermal paste cause I by mistake touched it.

Also I can't actually get to those clips cause they're behind the mounting clips
