The fan that came with my VisionTek GeForce4 Ti 4200 died and I bought a replacement cooling fan an Iceberq4 Pro. Now I am trying to remove the old fan and heatsink. I took out the fan but the heatsink is still attached. There are no screws or anything else attaching the heatsink to the chip except some type of adhevise glue holding it to chip. Any suggestions on how to remove it without damaging the card. And After removing the heatsink is there a good way to clean the gpu to make it ready for the new cooler?

Joo can first try running an intense game using the card, or using a hairdryer, then try popping it out while it's hot.

If that doesn't work, pop the card into a ziplock bag, and chuck it into the freezer for an hour.

To clean the muck away, joo can use alcohol, like 99% alcohol or something.
