removing graphics card

i currently have two graphics cards sli in my pc and i want to sell one when i removed one of them my pc would not get past the first screen to pop up when turned on when i put it back in it works fine. how do i remove it without messing up my pc

Disable SLI in your Nvidia control panel and then try.

Dunno if it's the problem, but d id you disable SLI in the Nvidia control panel ?

Try disabling SLI prior to shutting the PC off. Then remove the card and turn the PC back on.
