[SOLVED] Removing Kraken x62 from CPU

It’s my first build and didn’t realize I put the cooler side ways. When I open the PC the light on cooler is diagonal instead of horizantal. Do I need a new thermal paste and clean the CPU?

Anytime I remove the CPU cooler, I would change the thermal paste. Use some isopropyl alcohol and a coffee filter to remove the paste you have on there now and reapply with new paste.
