Removing one card from SLI

Hi. i had two GTX 970 G1 Gaming on SLI and recently i remove one of them and sold

i want to know there is any need to change my windows?
when i did this i re istall my graphic card driver ...

No you don't need to reinstall windows or anything, just disable sli.
