Question removing power cable

hello i have 20 + 4 pin for my power cable, and i had two connect them together before connecting into mobo, i discovered that when i connected my 20 pin alone, how do i get it out?
the plastic holder thing isnt even attached to motherboard so i dont press it.
mobo: msi b360 gaming plus

There is nothing holding it in except friction.

24 pins take a lot of force to remove. I wouldnt worry about using a bit of force to wiggle it out.
Just try to wiggle it out "aggressively".

i did remove it, thank you for the help. but i did it right this time, but now i cant get it to snap in, i've used very much force, am i too weak or am i doing something wrong? lol
its like super super close to snap
