When I used my old VGA cable with the monitor, the screen used to be always black after I powered off the system unit every day. But after I have replaced the old VGA cable with the new one, the screen is not black after I power off the system unit every day. Instead, the message “CHECK CABLE SIGNAL” is rotating on the screen:

Does anyone know why this message began appearing and how to disable it?

Solution
Then it sounds like everything is working as designed and there is no problem here. Check the monitor's manual for a poweroff timer setting, set that and be done. Either that or simply turn the monitor off when you turn the computer off.
Look in Reliability History and Event Viewer for any error codes, warnings, or informational events of any sort related to GPU, video, etc..

Reliability History presents a time line format that may show some error beginning with the new VGA cable.

That said: try the new VGA cable on another known working computer system.

Try another known working VGA cable on your monitor.

Determine if the problem follows the new cable or stays with the existing computer/GPU/ monitor.

That message is generated within the monitor. It has detected that the cable is connected but there is no signal. This is perfectly normal operation and cannot be disabled. You can either wait and the display will go to sleep in usually 20-30 seconds or you can simply turn the display off. There is nothing you can do from the computer side.

Thank you for the explanations. I do not see any video errors reported in the Reliability Monitor and Even Viewer.

I have tried connecting the monitor to the system unit through the older cable, and the monitor went into the “POWER SAVING MODE” after the system had been shut down. The message “CHECK POWER CABLE” was not rotating on the screen.

I do not know why the monitor does not go into the “POWER SAVING MODE” when the new cable is used. It seems that the monitor does not recognize the system unit when it is connected to it through the new cable.

Do you know why after the system shutdown, the monitor reacts differently to the two cables? Is there something in the old cable which causes the monitor to recognize that it is connected to the system unit after system shutdown?

Is this new cable identical to the old or did you replace an analog cable with digital (HDMI, DP)? The monitor detects whether or not it's connected through the cable. Perhaps the old cable (assuming it's identical to the new) doesn't feed this connection through. That's the only thing that will do this.

The new cable is 3 meters long, whereas the old one is short. The cables seem to have been made by different manufactures.
I do not know what is an analog/ HDMI/ DP cable. Both of my cables have the same connectors at each end.

Thank you for the information, Apparently the cause of the lack of signal is the new cable, because the monitor reacts differently to the old one. Since there is no timer setting in the settings of the monitor, turning off the monitor manually may be the only option left.
