Removing The Write-Protection On My SD

I have problems with my SD such as I cannot do anything to my images and other files because it comes up as I have to remove the write protection, I do not know what to do next... Does anyone have some suggestions??

Is there a switch on the card? If this is set to locked the card cannot be written to.
