removing user from computer

when I go o start computer then uer shows up CHRIS I want to get rid of this Please help when I went to user accounts it shows Rodney Maros in caps. under configure user propertys it shows rodneymarois in caps/chris in caps too. thanks

Go to user account in control panel> manage another account > click on it> delete account
Or
Right click my computer> manage > Local users and groups > users > right click on the account you want to delete > delete

Make sure you are logged in with an acct OTHER than CHRIS when doing what Xtt suggests...

thanks so much my repair guys reinstalled 7 for me.

No offense, but you need new repair guys if they have to reinstall Windows just to fix a problem with user accounts. That's the complete lazy way of doing things, instead of investigating the actual problem. I don't know how friendly you are with them, but if they did that to me, it would be the LAST time they touched my rig... IMHO

Man he got lucky, if I went with such a problem to one of the local repair guys here, their diagnosis could include anything between a crashed hard drive to a burnt processor.

It is always better to search for a solution on the web, and with all these types of forums it was never this easy to find a solution for your problem. Asking for a solution from a professional is often not wise , because some often are tied down with company restrictions while some are just idiots. For example you cannot ask a apple worker to jailbreak your apple device.
