removing win2000 from dual boot system

how exactly do i do it and will the menu still come up asking which os to boot too. The reason im asking i had linux on it too and when i uninstalled linux i lost everything. and had to reinstall everything

When I go into a computer store I lose all means of reason for some reason.

You have deleted all Linux related stuff, right?
Then Fdisk /MBR.
Does the Detete Partition work after you boot from Win2000 CD and go through install procedure?
Delete then and exit or/and you'll be ready to start everything from scratch.
