Hi, I recently got an SSD, and I want to install windows 8 on it. I currently use a 1TB hard drive with windows 7 installed on it. If i want to install windows 8 on my ssd, remove windows 7 and use my 1TB HDD as storage but keep the files on it, how do i do that?

First, attach the SSD to your system.
Then boot Windows 8 Installer and install the OS onto the SSD
Then at the Boot Setup, Change your startup boot from HDD to the SSD
Then once your are on Windows 8 running in ur SSD, go to My Computer and drag the files from the HDD to your desktop
Then go to Computer Management and clean format the HDD.
After formatting, you'll have a clean HDD and then drag the files from your desktop to the HDD and delete the files from desktop.
You problem should be solved.
