Rename problem windows

Hello,I accidentally renamed my whole desktop. I would like to get my old file names back.

Either use a restore point , or rename them one by one. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/products/features/system-restore

And what exactly do you mean you renamed your whole desktop? Just the files you had on the desktop, shortcuts, etc...? What exactly did you do?
