Hey!

I have an i5 3570 and a R9 280. And I want to know if there is a way to to render in 4K and downscale it to 1080p. I know you can do it on nvidia cards but i haven't figured it out on AMD. Thanks

DSR (Dynamic Super Resolution) is an Nvidia term. AMD's version is called VSR (Virtual Super Resolution) and recently was made available in their latest drivers.

Memory requirements depend entirely on the in game settings. However, the R9-280 doesn't yet, and may not get, this technology. Currently only works on the R9-285 and up.

They have it built in. DSR is what they call this technology. Plus I don't recommend it. R9 280 will not be able to handle it anyway, 3GB memory isn't enough.

Does the R9 280X have this? I used to have R9 280X and it's still in my closet, but I haven't heard of this lol.
