Hello everyone,

I am posting because I believe have some very bad rendering issues with Sony Vegas Pro 13. It takes almost triple the time to render a video than it should with my current PC specs, which are as follows:

- AMD FX™-8350 Eight-Core Processor x 1
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB (GP106) @ 253 MHz x 1
- Gigabyte 970A-DS3P Motherboard w/ AM3+ sockets
- 600W Power Supply
[A full CPU-Z document of my computer is here: http://valid.x86.fr/lgbuu6 ]

It takes me 1hr10 mins to render a 30 minute video, with the following recording and rendering settings:

- 1080p
- 60 Frames Per Second
- 20,000 Bitrate Average & Max (Which is MORE than the recommended for 1080p 60fps and the videos still look like trash, but that's a separate thread.)
- One-Pass
- Render with CPU and CUDA GPU boost.
[More info can be provided if needed.]

I'm unsure why it takes so long to render a video, with my current computer specs, surely it should not take 1hr10 minutes to render a 30 minute video? I'm not sure what else to say on the matter, my render times are far too long, and my videos still do not look how they should - They look much worse.

Does anybody have any suggestions on what could be going wrong? Are my render times actually correct or are they infact almost triple what they should take? I'm happy to provide any more information required. Thanks in advance.

I would say try disabling cuda rendering as it creates inconsistencies in rendering times. Also, make sure that your using all the ram in your system. Use task manager to make sure that is the case. Setting static bitrate can improve rendering quality and speed.

Alright, I did everything you said and it seems to take me 55 minutes to render a 20 minute video, so not much change at all. CUDA does not effect render times at all it seems.
Is 55 minutes normal for 20 minutes though? I feel like it is still double the length it should take.
