Question Rendering of blacks on an IPS display ?

One thing I am very confused about is that everyone says that dark screen can't show deep black on IPS display. This is a shortcoming of this display. So when we see any black color like car, shirt, building etc. without dark screen, they are showing black color.
A dark color in daylight looks black on both AMOLED and IPS displays.

If black can be shown at other times, then why can't black be shown only on dark screens?
If there is a shortage, the IPS display will always show black and gray.

What is the make/model of your display? How are you connecting to it (HDMI, DP, DVI, VGA)?

One thing I want to be more clear is that, when we see a black color in daylight on an IPS LCD display, it looks black but not black in the dark.

Why does deep gray look black in the dark?

When we see a black car, shirt, mobile etc its look absolutely black in IPS Display like OLED so why people say that IPS screen can't produce deep black?

IPS can certainly display dark images. Have you adjusted any of your display settings more to your liking?

What specifically is not meeting your needs?

That is a modern IPS display and you should be able to fine tune the image easily.
