Renting a small farm.

Does anyone know how much it might cost to lease a small farm or small
holding?
Any idea of the best places to look for adverts?

Post your question on uk.business.agriculture. Lots of clever
people on there and they invariably give informed and sensible
answers. Unfortunately, it is currently having a problem with
trolls, but I wouldn't let that put you off.

You could probably sell a small terraced house in the south and
buy quite a decent place in Scotland or Wales, with land, with
the money. I have a tiny house and 34 acres which is reckoned to
be worth about £200,000. I suppose you could work out a rental
value from that. 6% p.a.?
