For those who think, rightly so, that T:V needs help jump over to
planetrenegades and see what they got cooking so far.

You might not have liked Ren in T1 or T2 but I am betting with T:V it
will hit right.

I'm looking forward to it. Right now, it only takes one good capper
to unbalance a game. I'd like to see more offensive teamwork required.

One day, while skipping through the forest, I heard the voice of
wlessard7974 <wlessard@excite.com> coming from a tree, and thought, "Man,
this is f*ed up," but carried on the following conversation anyway:

the reason that ren might actually be decent this time is that they have me
working on design. as long as the old ren faggots dont get their way too
much, it should be much better.

Well there is a glimpse of hope. I am still pessimistic about T:V's
survival at this point. Love the game and going back to T2 is very
disorienting now.

That is the main missing part of T:V... Lack of defense options.

About the only options I see used on any server are

1: Turrets that take forever to deploy and never seem to be enough. Slow
to track as well.

2: HD - Heavies that blast the flag with green boomies to stop a runner.
Usually taking out the placed D for the follow up capper to slide
through with a grab.

3: Anyone on a route - even me - can get 150+ speed and that is almost
impossible to stop.
