Question repair gtx 980ti-help

It might work, it might not. Depends partially in how good your soldering skills are. If you're skilled enough to do this with a good rate of success on GPUs, then there's probably not much we could add. Considering you can get a used 980 Ti for well under $100 these days, I'm not quite sure what the practical benefit is.
 
i have three gtx 980ti all has bad vram i repair two gpu but on one not have vram for replace can use elpida vram if i have sk hynix vram on pcb
You would probably have to switch to a VBIOS where the replacement memory was originally used, and I don't think that mixing memory vendors / types is going to work or is a good idea. If you're replacing one chip with a given type and it's not the same as the rest, all chips need to be replaced. At least I'm fairly sure this is the case.

i testing on gtx 660ti and rx 550 2gb i remove on vram from rx 550 and solder on gtx 660 ti and work but i no have idea if work on gtx 980ti and rx 470 if i solder from rx 470 to gtx 980ti
