Question repair gtx 980ti-help

How did you come to the conclusion that one of your dedicated GPU's VRAM is bad? You tried flashing the VBIOS on your GPU?

It might work, it might not. Depends partially in how good your soldering skills are. If you're skilled enough to do this with a good rate of success on GPUs, then there's probably not much we could add. Considering you can get a used 980 Ti for well under $100 these days, I'm not quite sure what the practical benefit is.

Won't work with removed module.
It has to be replaced and resoldered.

May want to watch this. I don't suggest, you do it yourself.
Requires appropriate equipment and a lot of skill.

i have three gtx 980ti all has bad vram i repair two gpu but on one not have vram for replace can use elpida vram if i have sk hynix vram on pcb

You would probably have to switch to a VBIOS where the replacement memory was originally used, and I don't think that mixing memory vendors / types is going to work or is a good idea. If you're replacing one chip with a given type and it's not the same as the rest, all chips need to be replaced. At least I'm fairly sure this is the case.

i testing on gtx 660ti and rx 550 2gb i remove on vram from rx 550 and solder on gtx 660 ti and work but i no have idea if work on gtx 980ti and rx 470 if i solder from rx 470 to gtx 980ti
