Hi everyone!

I have a friend who was updating windows 10 and her computer crashed on her. Since it crashed the computer continuously loops the loading process of the operating system. She cannot even load into safe mode. I believe her operating system just needs a clean install but she needs her data.

My initial thought was to get her data off the computer using an adapter to convert her hard drive into an external hard drive (which worked) except I cannot see her user (which is also the administrator) accounts files on her hard drive.

Is there a way to make her user folders and files appear for me? If not, what would be the best next step?

Here is my concern:

"Is there a way to make her user folders and files appear for me"

We have no way of truly knowing what has transpired and we cannot (per Forum rules) help you recover her files via some circumvention of passwords or admininstrative rights.

She will have to give you the administrative rights. I.e., the applicable admin name and password.

Closing thread accordingly.
