hp zd7350 VERTICAL LINES WHEN CONNECTING EXT MONITOR NO PROBLEM.

1st and most likely is the inverter, can be fixed if you are not afraid to crack open the case and screen. You can find parts on ebay for you model.

2nd could be an issue with the screen itself. Can also be swapped out if the inverter did not help, check ebay.

I can't find any details on this laptop, if it's out of warranty and more than 3-4 years old, you may be better off looking for a new laptop rather than spending money to replace the screen parts unless you can do the labor yourself.
