Repairing lg 500gb external hard drive

Hello, When i plug in my hard drive it appears a sign telling me to format the drive, and when i tryed it, it failed. I also tryed using the diskpart tool from windows cmd, but i can not even list the disk. I dont care about the information inside! Just need help to repair it!
