That's definitely not normal, even in Sims2.
All servicepeople are fully incarnated and can, as far as I know, have
babies. (I'm not sure about the Grim Reaper and lovemaking, but at least
he can spontaneously decide to use the toilet...)

haha looks like something that needs to be patched then by EA, why they even
bother releasing games with so many bugs in them, dont these games undego
rigorous beta testing to ensure compatability with all possible concoctions
of hardware and device settings etc

i was told to change mt drive from DMA to PIO by EA help... reduced
performance for my whole system just because they can't program their games
properly

I am not sure it is even possible to test it on all possible combinations
of hardware and software, I think these days there may not even be two
computers that are quite the same. Even if you buy them mass produced from
the shop, the moment you install something else it all goes poof. And the
game works pretty well usually. I am surprised to see almost no bugs in
such a big game. I remember how much trouble I had before I gave up to get
EverQuest to run at all, and that was after I ordered a new PC in the shop
telling them specifically it was to play EverQuest and they must make sure
it had the right specifications (they also sell the game).
Sometimes Fate just enjoys making you stumble in her threads.
