repartition without data loss?

anyone know of a shareware program that I can use to manipulate my partitions without losing data. I made a system and a general partition, but I didn't take into account the fact that a lot of programs won't let you choose to install them in any partition other than c. I want to shorten the other petition, move it over and lengthen the c partition. I know of one program that can do that without data loss, but you have to buy it. Any shareware things like that?
