Repeater connected but not responding

Hi. Firstly not very IT literate therefore need idiot guide. Bought repeater to get access to garden. Got wireless connection but states not responding to server. The repeater is an MSRM 300 if that helps. Thanking you for your kind help.

For initial setup of a range-extender, it's advisable to have the extender & wireless router in the same room & as close as possible to each other.

When setup is complete & all lights on the extender are showing okay (successfully connected) you can then move the extender to your desired location (but don't put it too far away from the router or connection will be lost).
