Hi,
About a year ago, my 8 years old AIO fan kept going at something like 50% for five seconds, 100% for five more seconds continuously. Back then, being lazy, I found out that unplugging 1 of the 2 fan kept it at a loud (but constant) 100%. Over the year I had no problem running with 1 fan and temps where kept normal even when running VR.

Now , I just upgraded to a new machine and plan to give the old PC to my parents for their home gym.
The most demanding app that will run is zwift:
Zwift Requirments

I cant give them a pc thats doing a lawn mower noise.
Do you suggest i try to replace the fans from the current one see if itx it.
For the same price I could probably buy a new air cooler.
Or do you recommend replacing it for a new AIO?

The pc is an
Intel i7-3930K
A corsair H80 cooler
16gb ram
with a GTX 970
and a 750 w psu

Thanks

Solution
You might fix the fan, but then the pump on an 8 year old aio will be next.
You should be able to use a simple tower type cooler with a 120mm fan.
It will cool just as well, be quieter, and will not leak.
