Replace GT630m with GTX 670M

Hey Guys,

I own a Toshiba LX830 All in One PC and I am looking to replace my 630m with GTX 670M. Here are my specs:

i3 2350M @2.3GHz
nVidia Geforce GT 630m
4GB RAM
23" Full HD Screen

As you all probably know these are laptop cards and I do know how to take apart this computer. I'm not exactly a pro, so my question is this. Will the 670M work in my computer? They both run on ferni architecture, both 40nm technology and support my PCI express 2.0 bus.

The only difference I see that might threaten my chances is the fact that the 630M uses DDR3 Graphics Memory (Thats what it says) and the 670m uses GDDR5.

670m will work as ddr5 has no relation with ram memory.but donot know you can pull that 630 and replace with 670.

I think you're right. I just saw My GPU is MXM type A will the 670M is MXM type B 🙁

This is unfortunate because almost all the top GPU's are MXM type b.
